A 16 yr old female being diagnosed as acne vulgaris with recurrent aphthous ulcers in mouth. She suffered from complains for almost 3 yrs. She used to be on Tab Folic Acid for aphthous ulcers and used to use various over the counter prescriptions for her complain of acne vulgaris. All these treatment helped her only partially.
The diagnosis was made from clinical examination and history. No blood investigations were done for diagnosis as well as to evaluate the prognosis. Monitoring examination findings were used as criteria for assessing the response to the treatment.

Remedy and management of the case:
Patient was given Calc Carb as a constitutional medicine. Her complains of aphthous Ulcer stopped completely in 3 months. Her Acne Vulgaris improved to 90% in 8 months of treatment. She began taking interest in drawing and craft work which she always liked.
A 40 yr old male patient came with complains of vague physical complains of weakness, body ache, indigestion stool difficulty like constipation etc. he also had mood changes due to all these physical complains. He would weep and remain disturbed because of constant physical problems. All his blood and radiological investigations were normal patient suffered constantly from these complains for over two years. Because of this complains he could not concentrate in his work and most of the days he remained at home.
The diagnosis of Dysthymia was made from clinical history and mental state examination. Other medical conditions were ruled out by conducting blood and radiological investigations which were normal. Other psychiatric diagnosis like Major Depressive disorder and Mood Disorder were kept as DD in the cases which were eventually ruled out.

Remedy and management of the case:
Lycopodium and Nat Mur came as very close remedies for differentiation after repertorization. Patient initially responded to Lycopodium. But later on the response was not satisfactory. After further investigations of life situation and temperament of the patient Nat Mur was selected. Nat Mur helped the patient in over coming all his complains of physical discomfort as well as mental depression. Patient has been able to attend 3 to 4 days a week to work from the situation that he was not going to work at all. The flair ups of depression and bodily anxiety with weeping and anxious behavior has been helped by frequent doses of Ignatia or at times Phosphorous. In between attacks of acute Pharangitis has responded to Pulsatilla.
